IMPORTANT

The Old E.111 form obtained from the post office to receive free medical treatment whilst abroad has now been replaced by the new European medical card obtainable free from the NHS See www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk  in the UK. This like the old form E 111 entitles free treatment within European Community for those travelling (not officially Residing in a foreign country ..although we expect changes to this ruling soon)

We strongly advise all relocators to carry this card with them for free treatment.

 

TAX CHANGES

From the 1st January 2007 Capital gains tax for Residents of Spain has increased from 15% to 18% and for none residence REDUCED from 35% to the same 18%...Good News for those who intend to make a profit from resale property.
